The Q&A Archives: beans

Question: i just planted string beans in florida, from seed.
is it too late to get a good harvest?

Answer: You may be a little late in planting your green beans, but you may still get a harvest. They don't really like to grow in hot weather so planting in March or April will give them enough time to mature without having to grow in the heat. But, your mileage may vary and you may get a nice crop. Hope so!
