| I like to fertilize my tomato plants about every 2 weeks with a dilute fertilizer solution. Early in the season, I use a soluble fertilizer such as Miracle-Gro, to get them off to a good start. Then I switch to a combination fish emulsion/kelp mix for the rest of the season. Whatever you use, just follow label directions carefully. If you apply too concentrated a solution of some soluble fertilizers, you can damage plant roots. |
