lambs ears - Knowledgebase Question

My lambs ears have already bloomed. Should I dead head them. also there is a lot of dead around the bottom . Any advice on keeping them in good shape is appreciated. THANKS

You can cut back your lamb's ears to nearly ground level after they have finished blooming and they will sprout healthy new stems and leaves. I find that an annual shearing renews the plant, removes all the dead leaves, and makes them grow neat and compact. Best wishes with yours!
