I purchased a Snowfountain Serpentine Cherry for my wife for Valentine's Day. It has cherries on it right now, and from what I have been reading about the tree it should not have cherries.

Your Snowfountain cherry tree is an ornamental and will not produce a bumper crop of edible fruit. But ornamental cherries can begin to develop fruit early in the year which will be shed before they grow too large. It's normal and natural, and nothing to worry about. The fruit will drop soon. Best wishes with your tree.
