Most of the varieties I've seen are yellow, with dark centers. Some are doubles--meaning they have double (or more) the number of petals as the common ones. There are some cultivars that have petals that are yellow at the outside, grading to red or red-brown at the base, with a dark center. There is also one called 'Green Eyes' that has yellow petals and an olive-green center disk. I haven't seen Rudbeckia hirta come in any other colors. Aren't they truly glorious flowers!
