I purchased one of your cat gardens last week and planted the seeds per the instructions. However, the catnip will not grow. The cat grass sprouted within a few days and is growing well. Is there anything I need to do or should I replant?

Catnip (Nepeta cataria) is a member of the mint family and should sprout in 7-21 days in moistened seed starting mix if you just barely cover the seeds. Try sprinkling them on the surface of the mix and pressing them in with your hand rather than covering them with additional mix. Place the container or tray into a plastic bag, or cover with plastic wrap to help hold in moisture until the seeds germinate. Remove the plastic after they sprout and place the container in a brightly lit area.
