I received a mum plant from someone at the office. It was doing fine for a while but now all the blooms are dying. I watered it and even picked off the dead blooms. The green parts are fine. Any suggestions?

The flowers on your mum will last about 3 weeks and then they will die down. Cut off the faded flowers and give your plant lots of sunshine and ample water. In late summer or early fall it will develop new flowers for you to enjoy. Best wishes with your mum.
