my palm tree plant the branches are turning brown. the office the plant is located, gets cooler in the evening. it sits by the vents and the window shades are partially closed. should i move the plant under a office light and away from air vents. how often should this plant be watered? and should it be watered from the bottom. thank you |
Most indoor palms will adapt to both high and low lighting conditions but they don't like drafts so I'd move it away from the air vents. Water completely and then allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering again. I suspect the air is dry now that the air conditioning is working so that's another cause of brown leaves. Try misting the plant once a day to see if that doesn't help. I hope so! |
