This year my azalea had so many blooms the plant began to sag. Should I trim the bush? when? |
Pruning will not only shorten the branches, it will encourage new branches, as well. These shorter branches should hold up the flowers a little better. Prune as soon as the flowers are spent. Azaleas take all summer to develop flower buds for the following year's floral display so the sooner you prune, the better! Enjoy your garden! |
