What is the latest news on trimming/pruning Mulberry trees. We have 2 one male, one female they are over the top of the roof of the house.

It is best to prune each winter when the tree is fully dormant and has dropped all its leaves - this is when it is easiest to see the branch structure. With caution, prune away any damaged branches, any branches located in a poor area like a roof, wires, etc. You can certainly prune off any low hanging or othwerise poorly located branches at any time of the year.
