The Q&A Archives: Petunias not doing well

Question: I planted my annuals the second week of May, they are not thriving yet but most of them are doing well; all but the petunias that is. Do you know why?

Answer: Petunias really thrive in hot weather so they may be sulking because the soil is cold, or because they were just recently transplanted. Give them a little more time to adjust and for the weather to be consistently warm (at night as well as during the day). I think they will perk up if you give them a little more time. Enjoy your garden!
