My boxwood looks terrible this year. It is planted near the house, and this year it is yellow and dead looking. Last two years it looked fine, and I trimmed it once. Don't know how old it is, I'm new owner of the home. What can be done to revive it? |
Sounds like some winter damage to me. Boxwoods tend to drop their oldest leaves and then replace them with new ones. I'd take a wait and see attitude with the boxwoods. By mid summer you should have a better idea of what needs to be pruned off to allow the new green leaves to take center stage. Best wishes with your boxwoods! |
