My boxwood looks terrible this year. It is planted near the house, and this year it is yellow and dead looking. Last two years it looked fine, and I trimmed it once. Don't know how old it is, I'm new owner of the home. What can be done to revive it?

Sounds like some winter damage to me. Boxwoods tend to drop their oldest leaves and then replace them with new ones. I'd take a wait and see attitude with the boxwoods. By mid summer you should have a better idea of what needs to be pruned off to allow the new green leaves to take center stage. Best wishes with your boxwoods!
