I purchased 2 plants labeled "Mexican Heather". I would like to know the Latin name so that I can look them up in reference books. Are these tender perennials or annuals? What soil/site do they prefer. Any information would be appreciated. |
Mexican Heather is the common name of Cuphea glutinosa, a perennial plant that grows 8 inches tall with a fwo foot spread. It likes full sun to partial shade, fertile, well-drained soil, and blooms in the spring with purple blossoms. |
