The Q&A Archives: Dwarf Gardenias

Question: Do I need to remove dead flowers from my dwarf gardenias or just let them fall off on their own? Will they bloom longer if I remove dead flowers or leave them to fall on their own. Thank you.

Answer: I make it a practice to remove faded flowers. Cutting them off will encourage new flowering stems and you'll get more flowers on your gardenia. Enjoy!
