| We have a bittersweet start that my wife's mother gave her three years ago and so far it's produced no berries. We have since found out that we need either a male or female to produce the berries. Can you help or do you know of anyone who may carry the Shrub? |
| You can purchase bittersweet (Celastrus scandens) from Carroll Gardens, 800-638-6334. 'Indian Brave' is the male cultivar, 'Indian Maiden' is the female cultivar. It sounds like yours is a female, if it's from a cutting from a plant that produced berries. |
