after a very heavy rainfall i found my mandevilla afloat and now it's losing it's leaves and wilting. help

Saturated soils can suffocate roots. If the soil is drying out now, your mandevilla may recover. If the soil is still soggy, lift the plant, roots and all, and plant it in a container with fast draining potting soil. I hope you can save your plant!
