We are 3 teachers in an occupational school (child care, horticulture& carpentry) that would like ideas/plans for a children's nature garden and suggestions for funding that we could apply for. We teach special education high school students and run a preschool also. Thanking you in advance,
Bette

A really good place to glean ideas is through your local cooperative extension office. Master Gardeners and 4-H Leaders have curricula they can share, along with design ideas. The following websites can also provide ideas:

http://www.clemson.edu/hort/co...

http://www.childrensgardennetw...

Information for grants can be found here:
http://www.globalchildrensgard...
http://gardening.lohudblogs.co...
http://assoc.garden.org/grants...
http://www.kidsgardening.com/g...

Just keep talking to everyone you can about the project and asking local gardening clubs for help/ideas. Gardeners are always happy to help!

Good luck with your project!
