| I would love to grow spinach and some kind of leaf lettuce in my yard, but I have alot of squirrels and other small animals that wander through my yard. Can I grow them in long window boxes on my deck? |
| Leaf lettuces and spinach will be perfectly happy in window boxes that are at least 8 inches deep. They will need that amount of room for healthy root growth. Best wishes with your salad garden! |
