For several years I have tried to grow tomato plants (usually 3-6 plants) but my plants never bloom and therefore never produce. What is my problem?

Tomatoes should be easy to grow in Memphis! I wonder if your soil needs to be amended? You can spread 3-4 inches of organic matter over the garden bed and dig it in to a depth of 8-10 inches. This will help loosen the soil and will add nutrients to the soil that the roots of your plants can use. Or, you can try growing them in 5-gallon containers filled with potting soil instead of garden soil. Set the containers in full sunshine and water as often as necessary to keep the soil moist but not soggy wet. Best wishes with your tomatoes!
