I have a problem with my zucchini. I have a baby zucchini growing and it started out green but now it is turning yellow. My garden is planted in these boxes that I created with weed control cloth on the bottom. I used the moisture control Miracle-grow potting mix in them. Did I use the wrong soil for that and that is why my zucchini is turning yellow?

Sounds like the planter boxes and soil are just right for your vegetables. The small rotting fruit are a result of poor pollination or a disease called blossom end rot. Cut off the affected fruits. As the season progresses your plants will develop lots more flowers and fruits. Probably more than you can possibly eat! Enjoy!
