What insecticide is recommended to kill carpenter bees?

Carpenter bees usually tunnel into wood that is deteriorated and/or has not been sealed, painted or stained. You may want to consider using a water seal or protective stain finish on the wood to help it last longer, and that should stop the problem. You may be interested in knowing that the males can't sting and the females are really quite docile and slow.
