just purchsed 3 days ago, still in original container which has plenty of drainage holes, sits on east facing balcony 4-5 hours direct morning sunlight, Phoenix is currently a high of 105. Entire plant is drooping, bottom leaves are yellowing, buds are not blooming. With the heat, should I maybe keep this as an indoor plant during the summer months in Phx? First time gardener  thx |
| Sunny Wind is a beautifully flowering yellow hibiscus. I find that they are not very happy in summer sunshine, though. If you can provide filtered morning sun (set it behind a larger plant) it will be happier. I have one out in my shaded patio and it is happy there so if you can find a more protected place for yours you can leave it outdoors - or move it indoors during the hottest months of the year.
