| A thick stand of dichondra will crowd out weeds so keep your lawn well maintained so it will grow lush and thick. You can apply a corn gluten meal based pre-emergent to keep weed seeds from germinating. If weeds have already emerged, your best defense is to pull them out by hand. There are herbicides that are selective to grasses that might work for your grassy weeds broad leaf weeds. The herbicides that work on broadleaf weeds would also kill off the Dichondra.
