I have one beefstake tomato plant which I planted in a pot more than six weeks ago, I now have 6 small green tomatos, what should I use to fertilize and how long before these tomatos will be fully ripe.

Your tomatoes will continue to grow in girth and will turn red when they are ripe. Probably another 4-5 weeks, depending upon weather. Feed with a half strength dilution of water soluable fertilizer (such as Miracle Gro) every 2-3 weeks for the remainder of the growing season. Feeding half strength will ensure your plants receive the nutrients they need without the risk of burning the roots. Good luck with your tomatoes!
