| Start by raking out the dead spots and the bare spots in your lawn. Remove the debris and then broadcast your seeds. I broadcast with a hand spreader and then use a fertilizer spreader to apply about a half inch of screened compost or peat moss over the entire lawn. The compost will help keep the seeds moist until they germinate. After reseeding and applying compost or peat, water well to work the seeds down to the soil. Best wishes with your lawn. |
