VERY YEAR MY TOMATO PLANTS ANBD OTHER VEG GET EATEN BEFORE THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO PRODUCE THE FRUIT. THE SQUIRRELS EAT THE FLOWERS OIFF MY TOMATO AND PEPPER PLANTS AS WELL AS THE SQUASH THE BIRDS LOVE BASIL WHAT CAN I DO TO PROTECT MY PLANTS AND ALSO NOT HARM THE BIRD I THOUGHT OF MESH CAGES IS THIS FESIABLE.

Chicken wire or mesh cages are an excellent idea. I just make cylinders out of them to place over individual plants. Bury the wire 6" into the ground and make sure they are at least 24" high. That will keep the wildlife out of your garden. Hope you have a great harvest!
