Our dogwood tree did not have flowers on it this year and now the leaves are brown on the edges. What should I do?

Brown leaf margins can indicate over watering or over fertilization. Some years dogwoods bloom well and others they don't. Sometimes you can encourage blooming by feeding with a 5-10-10 fertilizer in mid-summer. Be careful not to overapply fertilizer (check the package for correct rates based on the size of your tree) and broadcast it over the soil beneath the canopy of the tree. Hope this helps!
