The Q&A Archives: brown out

Question: My hydrangea have turned brown and look terrible. It has been raining alot for 2wks. I used bayer All-in- one rose & plant food on them too. What's wrong with them.

Answer: Rain, rain, too much rain. The soil has gotten too soggy and the roots of your hydrangea are struggling. Wait until things dry out and then prune off the dead and damaged plant parts. Your hydrangea will eventually sprout some healthy new growth.
