I have about 11 branches on rubber plant, 4 are pretty strong. Should I cut any of these branches off to get a better plant? Got plant as gift from a florist, about a year ago. Plant growing good.

I wouldn't cut any of the branches off the plant. Rubber plants respond to light and fertilizer. If you want a short, stout plant, don't feed it and give it only moderate to low light. If you want a tall, narrow plant, give it lots of light (which promotes growth) and feed regularly. Enjoy your rubber plant!
