Miniature roses planted in the ground need about one inch of water per week, applied slowly so it trickles down and wets the entire root mass. You can water twice a week in hot weather. The same plants in containers will need to be watered as often as necessary to keep the soil moist but not soggy wet. Water thoroughly and then let the top half inch of soil to dry out before watering again. Good luck with your mini roses!
