I need to replace a border on the south side of my yard; I've been told that I'm replacing russian olives, as old as 30 years or more. Do you have a recommendation for a hedge or other border that I can use? I want to do that immediately, if it's the right time.

Some evergreen hedges for you to consider include;
Buxus sempervirens, Cortaderia selloana, Euonymus japonicus, Juniperus chinensis ?Hetzi?, Ligustrum spp., Lonicera spp., Pyracantha spp., Prunus caroliniana, Syringa spp., Thuja orientalis ?Baker?.

Hope one of these is just right for your landscape.
