DAHLIAS WHY DO THE LEAVES DRY UP WHEN WATER GETS ON THEM WHAT CAN I DO

When you get water on the leaves, especially in the hot summer sun, the water droplets can intensify the sun's rays and burn the leaves. That makes them wilt and dry up. It is best to water the soil and keep water off the leaves so they won't burn and wilt. Best wishes with your dahlia.
