Vinca is and evergreen perennial that grows best in shade. Vinca has a trailing habit and is often used as a ground cover. Once established the vine needs only occasional watering. The plant can become invasive, so give it lots of room to grow, or plan on cutting it back hard every year. Some vincas have lavender blue flowers and others bloom in white or rosey pink.
