Is it possible to excelerate the growth of perennials? I would like for my plants to mature more quickly. How can I help? |
You can make perennials grow more lush with regular applications of fertilizer, but you can't make them mature any faster. Perennials flower according to age, not size, and aging takes time. When they are mature enough their growth hormones will prompt them to flower. There are some growth hormones available to greenhouse growers but they are hard to find in garden centers. To locate growth hormones you might be able to order through greenhouse supply catalogs. Best wishes with your perennials. |
