The Q&A Archives: Key lime flowers, but little to no fruit

Question: I have a 3 year old key lime, it flowers beautifully- lot's of bees, and although I don't have another lime tree, I have a pink grapefruit, lemon and 2 orange trees that produce abundantly. What do you suggest?

Answer: Key lime trees might not bear fruit for up to 6 or 7 years, so I think your tree is right on track, it just isn't mature enough yet to develop fruits. Give it a little more time and you will probably have more key limes than you know what to do with. Hope so!
