The Q&A Archives: Plants

Question: I live in South Mississippi, right next to the Gulf. My question is I am trying to grow some plants in pots and they have died already due to the heat and direct sunlight in my front yard. I was told when I bought the plants that they would do well. And despite my watering they have died Sad What plants are good in direct sun? Something flowering would be nice but I am worried about them dying.HELP
