Impatiens can stop blooming when the weather gets hot but will resume as soon as they have rested a bit. You can encourage new flowers by lightly shearing the faded flowers off your impatiens. I just use scissors to cut the plants back by about one third. New flowering stems will emerge in a few days after trimming. Enjoy!
