| Hello, My potted basil is starting to darken near the soil line, and up about a half an inch. Its not just one stem, but all of them. Does this mean anything?? Thanks so much for your help - Jake |
| Without seeing it, I can't really diagnose the problem. Sometimes the stems turn blackish when they mature, or when they have experienced some cold weather. As long as your plants are putting out healthy new growth, I don't think the darkened stems are causing any problems. Best wishes with your basil! |
