Hi,
I purchased 2 hibiscus plants from Home Depot. While both are full of nice green leaves, one has plenty of beautiful flowers, and the other hasn't had any flowers or new buds for some time. Can you please tell me if this is normal? If not, is there anything that can be done to help produce flowers? I have had hibiscus for many years and don't remember a plant not having flowers. Thanks!

I'm with you! It's puzzling. You can try pruning the hibiscus back to encourage new flowering growth. If it still doesn't flower, use a bloom booster fertilizer such as a 10-20-20. As soon as all the conditions are right, your hibiscus should begin to flower. Best wishes with your garden.
