| Ficus elastica 'Burgundy' do best in full sun to very high interior lighting to keep its rich burgundy color. Plants will tolerate lower light levels but the color will become a lighter green. The plants are need to be watered thoroughly and then allow the top half inch of potting soil to dry out between waterings. Fertilize the plants monthly with a half strength dilution of water soluable balanced fertilizer. I use a half strength dilution of Miracle Gro or Peter's for my houseplants. Enjoy your ficus! |
