I would like to know if you have to cut Hybrid Tea roses off the bush when they start to wilt so they will keep on blooming or will they keep blooming on there own without cutting them? Also how long into the year will they keep blooming? I live in the U.P. of Michigan. We bought the bushes at Home Depot and they are blooming now. Thank You

Hybrid tea roses will bloom all summer long and will produce more flowers if you deadhead or prune off the spent flowers. When you cut away the spent flower, prune the flowering stem down, too. In fact, if you prune down to a 5-leaflet leaf, your rose will send out a another flowering stem from that point. Best wishes with your new roses.
