Do peppers require bee pollination? Due to the cold weather, I am required to use row covers. Pepper plants now are starting to blossom. Do I need to open the covers to permit pollination?

Isn't this wacky weather frustrating? My peppers haven't budged an inch since I planted them two weeks ago! Fortunately, peppers are self-pollinating, like their cousins tomatoes and eggplant, so you can safely keep them covered until summer returns to the Northeast!
