The Q&A Archives: Worried about Transplanted Hibiscus

Question: Our new house has a beautiful, though overgrown garden. I found a small (almost 3' tall) red hibiscus under a huge rose bush. In transplanting, found that it had very few roots, two approx. 6" long is all. Almost looks as if growing off of a piece cut from another one. Into the second day now and it is turing yellow and wilting. Used miracle grown potting soil for inground transplant. Any Advice?
