The Q&A Archives: Spots on Cherry Bush

Question: I have two cherry bushes planted in my garden. One is doing well. The other has some yellowish-brown spots on the leaves. Too much H2O or what? Help please. Thanks

Answer: It is difficult to say what is wrong with your cherry bushes without seeing a sample, however cherries do require a well drained soil. Cherries do develop foliar diseases. Cherry leaf spot is a common fungal disease. You can spray with a general purpose garden fungicide. Best wishes with your landscape!
