I bought a Desert Rose at two of your stores, but none of the plants in stock had any info about the plant or its care. Please help me find this info. I also bought a Bromeiliad with the same problem. |
Desert rose likes lots of sunshine and fast draining soil. Since your winter's get cold, and desert rose is from Africa and likes the heat, plant yours in a container that you can move indoors during the winter months. Use cactus potting soil instead of regular potting soil so that the roots can dry out between waterings. Water every 7 days or so to keep your plant hydrated. It should bloom and grow without much additional care. Enjoy! |
