Asparagus fern is a popular houseplant but it can also be planted outdoors. Indoors it is a perennial; outdoors it may die down in freezing weather. Indoors it likes bright light and regular watering. Outdoors it will grow in morning sun and afternoon shade in average soil. Enjoy your new plant!
