The Q&A Archives: Unused fountain as a planter

Question: What is the best way to use a fountain as a planter. Drainage is a problem for me. Thank you!

Answer: Since drainage is a problem, how about simply setting containers of plants in the fountain and stuffing spaghnum moss around the pots to disguise them? You can remove the pots to water your plants and replace them in the fountain after the excess moisture has drained from them. Enjoy your new garden!
