will a dwarf hollyhock grow in my particular area? i can't seem to find one!

Dwarf hollyhocks are hardy to -30F so I think they will grow well in your region. If you cannot find plants, you may need to purchase seeds either from the rack or from online catalogs. They flower the first year if grown from seeds. Hope you can find a plant, though, for immediate enjoyment!
