what product would you recommend to me if I would want to spread soil and grass seed in one application?

I don't think your plan will work well. Grass seed needs to be sown on the surface of the soil in order to sprout. It needs light and air (unlike some seeds which require dark and should be buried beneath the soil surface). The best approach is to prepare the soil by adding organic matter and/or topsoil and then broadcasting the seeds over the surface. An alternative is to have the lawn hydroseeded or to install sod.
