The Q&A Archives: crocosmia

Question: My crocosmia are not blooming even though they are in a very sunny location. Any ideas?

Answer: Crocosmia, which is also called Montbretia, is a late summer bloomer. Expect to see flowers in August through October. Full sun and adequate water are all these plants need to perform their best. Just be patient with yours and you are sure to see some flowering later this season. Enjoy!
